While Benecaid has a PMO and a number of excellent project management resources, we were in a high growth phase and did not have resources available for an excellent opportunity that arose with a major US insurance carrier. They wanted us to design and develop two new benefit products for them. Since our internal resources were fully utilized on numerous other projects and we wanted to pursue this project, we needed a Project Manager to drive the project along and keep everyone on track. We reached out to ProcurePro, who had previously assisted us on another project.
Susan from ProcurePro jumped in quickly and established weekly calls with the internal Benecaid team, our client and other external resources. She managed the project plan of all outstanding action items from product development, process updates, documentation updates, marketing tasks and training. Susan liaised between the Benecaid team and the client to ensure that information and documentation was shared, followed-up on and tracked to completion. She provided weekly status reports to the Benecaid team and helped to coordinate and schedule workshops, training sessions and product walk-throughs. She also aided with gathering information for translation and testing of products in the system.
Susan was a tremendous help in keeping the team organized to move forward with both product development and launch. When we had internal resources available, Susan was able to bring her up to speed and transition the project back to her leaving Benecaid in a great position to finish the project and launch. We would not hesitate to use ProcurePro again in the future.
